How to Log In
How to Claim a Prize
Go to chaiathon.org/my-account/prizes, choose your prize, select the correct delivery address, and click Redeem (you must have donations on your page to claim a prize).
Decide if you want to send it to your team’s address ( no need to change anything then)
OR if you want it to go to your home address that you signed up with.
Or a completely different address and select the right address and then click on redeem prize
Congratulations! You have now successfully claimed your prize and it will be sent to you by our logistics team.

How to Share Your Campaign
Go to My Account > My Campaign and use the sharing icons on your page to share your campaign with friends and family.
How to Edit Your Campaign
Go to My Account > My Campaign, click on Edit Campaign, make your changes, and click Save. To update your address or profile info, go to the Settings tab.
How to Register
Click on Register, choose Join your camp or school, fill in your details, search for your team, and follow the steps to create your campaign.
How to Order Your Kit
Go to the Prizes page, select the $50 Stand Up for Chai Lifeline Kit, complete the order and payment, and enter the address where you want it delivered.

Can a donor add a dedication message that appears in my fundraising honor roll?
Yes, when making a donation online, donors can designate what they want to appear as their recognition name on your Honor Roll. This could be their name or a message such as “We’re so proud of you!” or “In memory of Aunt Sara.”

What is my personal page URL?
Your personal page URL is the link to your individual fundraising page. You can find it by logging into your account and navigating to your dashboard. From there, you can copy the URL and share it with potential donors.
Can I enter a check online?
You can’t enter a check online. If you have a webpage, what you can do is email a clear picture of the check to [email protected]. Please include your name (as it appears on the webpage) and a note to enter the donation on your webpage. We will enter the donation shortly after we receive it.
Where can I find a list of all my donors?
Log in with your email and password to visit your headquarters page. Select ‘My Fundraising Report on the left side. You will then find a list of all of your donors as well as a list of all donors to your team
Not all my donors are showing up on my honour roll, why?
As your donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the Honor Roll.
A donor is requesting a tax id number, what is it?
A Tax ID number identifies Chai Lifeline as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Many donors will request this number to validate their donation as tax-deductible. The Chai Lifeline Tax ID number is 11-2940331.
How quickly can I expect an online donation to post to my page?
Any donation made online should post immediately. If your donation does not post within 5 minutes, please contact Chai Lifeline.
Can I mail in a cash donation?
It is not a good idea to send a cash donation in the mail. The safest and easiest way is to donate through our website www.chaiathon.org. You can open your own webpage or just give a general donation. If you are donating to General, please write a description in the notes, include your name, your camp name (if applicable), and let us know if this is your full donation. You may drop off the cash at:

along with your information, or you can deposit the cash into your checking account and send a personal check from your account to the above address. Please include your name (as it appears on your webpage) along with a note if you would like us to enter the donation on your webpage.
What can I do if a check is written out to me personally?
If a donation check has been written out to you personally, you may endorse the back of the check and mail it in with a completed donation form to:

How do I add dedication when I make a donation?

Do all donors who contribute online receive a receipt?
Yes, anyone who donates online, regardless of the amount, will receive a receipt via email. Canadian donations will receive a Canadian receipt through Chai Lifeline – Canada.
Do all donors who mail their donations receive a receipt?
Any donor who mailed their donation and provided an address will receive a receipt via mail once the donation has been processed. If you made your donation in installments, you will receive a receipt each time a monthly payment is processed.
For Canadian donations made online with a Canadian credit card, will the amount entered be in U.S. dollars?
Canadian donations made online with a Canadian credit card, the amount entered in the online donation form will be in Canadian dollars. A Canadian tax receipt will be issued by Chai Lifeline – Canada office.
Are donations tax-deductible?
All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
What happens if I check the checkbox to “cover processing fees”?
If you check this checkbox, you will be charged the amount indicated next to the checkbox. This amount will also be visible to the non-profit. However, on the fundraising page, your intended – initial donation amount will be displayed.

How do I find a fundraiser’s personal fundraising webpage?
Click on the home page and begin typing the first or last name. Your options will display as you type.
Who should I make my check out to?
Please make all checks payable to: Chai Lifeline.
Please make sure that in the memo it says Chai Lifeline Chai-A-Thon and who the donations should be credited to. If you are part of a camp, please include the camp name and location.
